Mrs. Canard is a native of Alamogordo. Growing up she attended First Baptist Church where she accepted Christ and later met her husband. Now married for almost two decades, they have two daughters, both of whom are students at IDA. They are active members of Bethel Baptist Church.

God brought her to Imago Dei in 2015 and in His pursuit she served as the bookkeeper before moving swiftly and powerfully calling her to teach second grade at IDA in 2017!  She is always excited to partner with parents and staff while walking these precious children through the challenges and opportunities of second grade!
